Our kitesurf center is based at Lo Stagnone in Marsala, and is the best choice for those who want to learn this discipline in Sicily. We offer customized kite courses for all levels. The Kite Village is located right in the heart of this lagoon that offers ideal conditions for kitesurfing: the wind is constant for 300 days a year, the water is shallow and flat as a mirror, which means that all the perfect ingredients are present for learning kitesurfing in just a few days.

A perfect strategic point not only because of the characteristics of the place such as ever-present wind and shallow water that makes it easier to learn Kitesurfing, but also to enjoy the beauty of Western Sicily: The islands of Stagnone, San Vito Lo Capo, Segesta, Makari without forgetting Favignana Levanzo and Marettimo that can be reached by hydrofoil in about forty minutes or by renting a dinghy. A great environment, run by friendly, helpful, capable and professional instructors. The sicily kite academy, in contact with other kitesurfing schools, allows to compare, share and get to know both other beginners and real professionals and champions.
In just a few hours, as a complete neophyte, Matthew (my instructor for the days I was there) left me with a solid foundation to be able to continue the sport with desire: the basic beginner’s course (6h total) goes from the basics needed to know the environment, to safety, to the main techniques to be able to stand up with board on my feet. All other equipment is provided by the school. I absolutely recommend the experience if you have curiosity in the sport. See you soon!!!

Kite school run very well by Marco, a licensed instructor, which allows people to learn kitesurfing either starting with basic courses or with advanced courses. The school has an equipped area at the water’s edge that allows people to enter the sea with ease and safety. The equipment is good and the cost is reasonable and in line with average costs. For packages of classes, the school also gives discounts. In addition, the manager has a new B&B that is a 10-minute walk from the beach, very convenient, clean, and comfortable. In general I recommend this school because it allows you to learn kitesurfing in a comfortable, professional and fun way.
